He received his Law Degree in 2003 and worked for the Brazilian Justice Department before receiving his call to become a pastor. After that, he started his theological studies in the Baptist Theological Seminary of Alagoas, received a degree equivalent to M.Th. in 2009, a M.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Louisiana College in 2014 and has been working in his doctorate with Gateway Seminary (Gateway Seminary of the Southern Baptist Convention).

He is passionate to teach and preach the word of God, while ministering to people and sharing God's love.

Pastor Lon graduated in Theology on the Northern Baptist Theological Seminary of Brazil in 1986, has been pastoring churches in Brazil and the United States since then. He also finished his studies in Law in 1997. He has led several missionaries Trips to Brazil, helping to build churches. He has been serving the Lord for the last 35 years, preaching, teaching, playing and singing.
